《夕發箭場巖下作》 錢起

夕發箭場巖下作，暮山下破帳閑思。
The evening sun sets on the rock below the arrow field, I sit beneath the broken tent on the mountain, lost in idle thoughts.

行役不遑安，遠思聚風湍。
My mind is not at ease from the fatigue of travel, I gather my scattered thoughts in the rushing winds.

山谷無明晦，溪霞自興沒。
The valley is devoid of darkness and haze, the reflection of the stream's rosy clouds has disappeared.

朝櫛杉下風，夕飲石上月。
In the morning, combing my hair under the cedar tree, I feel the wind; In the evening, I drink in the moonlight on the rocks.

懿爾青云士，垂纓朝鳳闕。
Oh, how you shine, noble scholar, your tassels hanging down as you ascend to the palace in the morning.

寧知采竹人，每食慚薇蕨。
Who would know the bamboo gatherer, always feeling ashamed when eating wild vegetables.
