于武陵，會昌時人。其詩題材上以寫景送別的為主，同時寄寓濃濃的鄉思友情；詩風如羌管蘆笛，悠揚沉郁。佳作很多，有《贈賣松人》、《早春山行》、《送酂縣董明府之任》、《洛陽道》、《客中》、《寄北客》、等。其中《贈賣松人》一詩寫一賣松人想“劚（音zhu逐，砍、掘之意）將寒澗樹，賣與翠樓人”，但結果事與愿違，“長安重桃李”（長安人只喜歡桃李，對傲雪凌霜的松樹一點興趣也沒有），由此詩人感嘆他是“徒染六街塵”，空忙了一場。此詩借事諷世，確能起到遣人深思的效果，因此流傳頗廣。詩一卷(全唐詩中卷第五百九十五）。
